Kaimu General store, Uncle's Kitchen and the smoothie shack are walking distance. Island Naturals in Pahoa and Hilo has great selection of organic food.

Explore Kehena clothing optional black sand beach, frequented by dolphins (Monday is "gay day" with local pot luck gathering after beach hours;  marvel at lava flowing in Volcano National Park, find great organic fruit on the property and in local farmer's markets; walk to Uncle's Awa Bar host of Saturday morning farmers' market with live music, hot food vendors, gay vegan bakery, dirty sailor soap, arts and crafts, organic fruit and produce and  (including some very handsome men).

Our staff can give you insider information on hikes, private tide pools, adventures, tours and local Gay activities: naked volleyball, pool parties, pot luck dinners, ecstatic dance, yoga, massage, watsu, hiking, biking, wave meditation, art galleries and studios, historic Pahoa town's restaurants, and fun shops.
