Lomi Lomi was created by ancient Hawaiian Kahuna (elders/shaman) with the belief that through the pleasure of massage they could enhance the receiver's Mana (spiritual power) to create healing and wellness.
 
        The master healers used secret ways to release the powers of the body so that physical, emotional and mental healing would flow more quickly and completely. Hawaiian Lomi Lomi is a tool that effectively brings us into this "flow".  Its power lies in the magnitude of energy generated in both practitioner and recipient and is based on the wisdom that a stimulating massage is a primary way of maintaining wellness.

        In this massage I use a special massage oil created to resemble the body's natural oils. Using lots of oil, Lomi Lomi strokes are long and full, often covering the full length of an arm, leg or even the whole body. The strokes increase circulation, assist the body in cellular cleansing, and at the same time stimulate and relax muscle.
